Barren County Fiscal Court
will receive sealed bids until 3:00 p.m., central time, on Monday, June 19, 2017, on the following items in a quantity sufficient to supply its needs during the 2017-2018 fiscal year:
1) Crushed Stone. 2) Corrugated Metal Galvanized Pipe. 3) Plastic Pipe. 4) Plant Mix. 5) Road Oil.
All bidders shall use the bid form provided by the Barren Fiscal Court which may be obtained from the Barren County Judge/Executive’s Office, Third Level, Barren County Government Center, 117 North Public Square, Glasgow, Kentucky, Phone:
270/651-3338, Fax: 270/651-2844. (Mailing Address: 117 North Public Square, Suite 3A, Glasgow, Kentucky 42141 ). All bidders shall be of the quality prescribed in the specifications or better. The bid shall unequivocally state the price per unit the County will be required to pay during the one year fiscal period (July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018) which will include all taxes the county will be required to pay.
Bids shall be submitted to the Barren County Judge/ Executive’s Office in a sealed envelope properly marked as a bid on specific items, as may be applicable. The bids will be opened and publicly read at a Transportation Committee Meeting of the Barren Fiscal Court on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 8:15 a.m., central time.
Partial bids for only a portion of the items specified may be submitted by any vendor, and Fiscal Court reserves the right to award all or only a portion of any bid submitted or to readvertise any item(s) before awarding any contract. Bid shall be awarded on an evaluated basis. The Barren Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
